    IDC: Huawei, Oppo and Vivo together outstrip sales Samsung MIDPHONES Review



    According to a new report by the IDC, Samsung during the third quarter of 2016, fell in world market share of the smartphone. This allowed the 3 largest manufacturers of China, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo, have combo sales rate greater than that of Samsung, for the first time.

    In recent years, Samsung dominated the world market smartphones, having the largest share of the market. The rise but of Chinese companies, has begun and threatens the Samsung, which saw to lose market share during the third quarter of 2016.

    According to the IDC, Samsung has built 72.5 million devices the third quarter of 2016, at a time when the Huawei, Oppo and Vivo manufactured 80.1 million. These numbers, give the Samsung a market share of around 20%, lying in relation with the 22.4% of the second quarter of 2016, while the three Chinese manufacturers have a market share 22.1%. Of course, Samsung still holds the top after the Huawei, Oppo and Vivo possess the 9.3%, 7% and 5.8% respectively.

    This loss of Samsung, may in accordance with the IDC to be explained by the poor development which had the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, which revealed and released during the course of the troubled this quarter.

    Finally, interest is the fact that the Oppo and Vivo surpassed the Xiaomi and Huawei in China, just within a quarter. These two companies, other than China, fell in the same quarter increase and at world level, with the Oppo to increase the percentage of at 3.8% and an in vivo study by 2.9%
