New Apple patent can provide iPhone 7 super camera – Tech Magazine

Apple has been granted a patent on a new type of camera module with lyssplitter writes AppleInsider. A prism based camera module with three sensors will not require color channel processing or demosaikking and it provides space for larger image sensors.
